Smile!!!!!!!!!

I always ask my friends, my family to keep a smile on their face but some do get irritated sometimes but how do I make them know them that how a smile changes you and the environment around you. Some of my closest friends have a very beautiful smile and they don’t know but when they smile the world just becomes more beautiful may be after reading these lines they may understand.

My First Bike!!!!!!

I was in 10th when I had a dream of having a ride which is more than a cycle even if it is just a luna. My first ride was on my cousin’s sunny if you guys may remember it it was one of the cutest looking scooters of that time. I so wanted a scooty. So I asked my mom to buy something more than a cycle for it was now old and I had been riding it since last 9 years I wanted a change so on my birthday they gifted me another cycle a new one though. Although I was expecting a new luna or scooty but I still liked that cycle for it was damn classy with awesome looks and beautiful styling but it has been just 4 months when somebody stole it. Than I had to ride that old cycle again. After 12th when I was going to college I asked my parents to buy me a bike but no they again gifted me with a cycle and I was still happy with it for it was a racing cycle this time “HAWK” if you remember the cycle. I got my uncle’s old scooter to ride in 2nd year. I kept that scooter with me till my graduation but I never had an urge for a bike at that time. But I did love my mom’s scooter “The White Angel” as I used to call it.

I requested my dad to give me that scooter for my post graduation. I had that scooter with me for the whole of my MBA tenure. Sometimes I do used to feel a little down because in my college whoever possessed a vehicle it was a bike and I was the odd one out. But I still loved my scooter for it was the most beautiful in all the vehicles standing in the parking lot and its white color used to glitter even from long distance. Than I fell in love with the Pulsar 220 my second love after Karizma For it just took the senses out of me. One of the best bikes I have seen and ridden. It belonged to my best friend Atish. He used to give it to me sometimes to ride it. And damn man how it felt that you are sitting on a 220cc raw power engine with speed and pickup mind blowing. I had thought that if I will buy a bike it is going to be either this or if bajaj comes with a better version.
When I came home this year because of my job I needed a bike. I tried to convince my dad for the 220 but it was not working. He was totally against it because first it was not available in CSD and than it was too expensive too. I agreed to him because I knew the its cheaper version was going to take some time to come but than bajaj launched pulsar 180 the new styling with almost all the features of 220 except for the outer headlight looks but when I went to see it, man it felt quite amazing to see the changes made in that. I went for a test drive and there it was 0-70 in just 6.5 seconds although 220 does it in 6 seconds but this seemed to be fair deal I was ok with it and so was my dad for it came in his budget too and was available in CSD too. So there I got it the New Pulsar 180cc Black( color because I loved the color atu had). Now my long last dream of having a bike of my own has come true. Speed as far as itouched was 110 but it is said to touch 125. And cool styling with looks same as that of the 200 and handle and back seat support that of 220. I say it may not be a 220 but its still 80% 220. And I love it now. Now I am just waiting for one more thing and that is to make the girl of my dreams sit behind me it and we go on a drive. So it’s a girl hunt now!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be A Fighter!!!

I always used to ask my mom “you said life teaches you a lot. But what does it actually teaches you??”. Well I think in these past few years I have got all the answers. Answers as to how to judge between what’s right or wrong. Answers as to how beautiful the life is if you live it in the most positive way as one should. Answers to million number of questions that arise in front of you in times when you are facing bad times and even when you are going through good ones. Family, friends and everyone around you become important for you fro they affect in some or the other way. You go through ups and downs but it’s the way you fight through it that matters the most and if you can smile through it all you just passed the biggest of all the tests god gives you.

Past few days I went through a lot of things well to tell you in short I hopped three places in search of a good job, changed two jobs and left both of them. Gave almost 50-60 interviews with really bad profiles. There was a time when nothing seemed right in between for example when I went to Delhi for my job it all turned out to be a different profile than I was being told during the interview. SALES is all that I was getting through any of the companies where I went for an interview. A whole month had passed since I had left my parents and came to Chandigarh to prove it to myself that I can get a job on my own but all in vain. My dream of learning dance, to be with the ones whom I miss a lot as soon as possible. With nothing in hand I was down as to what should I say to my parents how will I face them. But then one of my closest friends told me “Deepaish you have been through worser times before, I know you are a fighter and you will win believe in your heart I know you will take the right decision”. I don’t know why she believes in me so much. Why cant I believe in myself??. Its not only her even the person whom I love the most in this world said “Deepaish I know you are hard worker and you will get through everything” and than my dad “Deep you don’t need to worry about anything I know you are capable of a lot more than this, you don’t need to prove anything to anyone”.

All my friends and family believes in me. But then why was I giving up. Than I realized that I was being to negative about myself, I cant let myself down. My family and friends haven’t given up on me than why should I give up on myself. Now whenever I am a little upset or disturbed I think about some of the wonderful moments in my life and trust me they do help you a lot. Those memories can give you the strength you need to overcome the problems you face. And of course than there are some friends of yours who make you realize that you not as worthless as you think but you are special and your existence does matter to them. Today I may be going through a downfall in my life but I still fight for I know they are some people out there who believe in me and so do I now.

Rote hue tu bahut aye lekin kisne haste hue duniya jeeti wohi sikander kehlata hai!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOSTEL LIFE!!!!!!!!!!


Well I don’t know how many of you feel the same but I feel once in everyone’s lifetime one should get an experience of the hostel life. For me it was amazing I went to a hostel when I came to Chandigarh for doing my graduation. Well for a child from a defense background it was quite difficult for me to settle in well it was not entirely my fault for DAV college was know to have some very good classic kind of people in that place. And yeah I remember there was a saying at that time “DAV college hostel the worst hostel you can ever send your child to.

But it taught me a lot of things after all living with your parents you are always in a protected environment and too much pampered. When at home we just say “ Bhaiya please bring my shoes” and our dad’s helper will come and give you your shoes. But in hostel you doo all your work on your own. And that’s what it is all about being independent in life so that one day you can stand on your own feet. It’s a total different world outside some good and some bad or should I say extremely bad but you need to know how to survive in this world and the best place to learn is hostel where you get to see all kinds of people. It was fun for me when I was at hostel. While you are at hostel your friends, your room mates are your family there is no mummy or papa who is going to listen to you. But there are your friends who will help you there. I still remember when I was in DAV college my first day in the hostel like a very disciplined guy I went of to sleep at 10 at night so that I can wake up in the morning on time for my classes. At around 11 there was a lot of noise outside my room in the corridor. I couldn’t sleep so I opened up my door and popped my face out to see what was happening and there my face was just missed by just a centimeter from a cricket ball for god sake these guys were playing cricket in the corridor at 11 o clock in the night. But soon it started to sink in. at 12’oclock there was a shout in the corridor for someone was going to the GH(Government hospital to get parathas and there were people who were giving orders for them and than we used to climb upon our gates and go and get parathas. Whenever we were supposed to go for movies it will only be fun republic and that also the last show of the day probably near 11 or 12. Watching over to the polytechnic hostel girls through binoculars. Going on gedi route from 11 sector to 36 sector to check out girls.

While you are in a hostel you are so independent to do anything you live on your own you sleep when you want you wake up when you feel its right no one to scold you or to keep a check on you. Absolutely free to do anything you want whether its from going out with friends to sit in the rose garden to bunking classes so that we could go and play pool it was one hell of a time. I feel you get to know the world in a much better and a practical way through your own experiences through hostel. God I still miss those days!!!!!!!!
